No problem. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up. We also offer custom adjustments for unique builds — just leave a note at checkout or message us directly.

Absolutely — as long as they’re properly fitted and adjusted as your puppy grows. (We recommend re-checking fit every 1–2 weeks during growth spurts.)

Because your dog doesn’t need to carry a paperweight on their neck. Metal buckles are heavy, cold in winter, and take forever to buckle and unbuckle — especially with a wiggly dog. We use high-quality plastic hardware that’s lighter, faster, and just as secure. Less clunky, more comfortable. Everyone wins.

Biothane is a coated webbing that looks like leather but performs like tech gear — it’s waterproof, stink-proof, flexible, and ridiculously easy to clean. And yes, we only use the original Biothane, made in Ohio. Because when it comes to materials, we don’t mess around.

It means our gear follows your dog’s body — not some random shape. It avoids pressure points, allows natural movement, and actually stays in place.

Regular cleaning:

Wash gear as needed to prevent dirt buildup.

Machine wash:

Polyester & nylon can be washed by hand or in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle (max 40°C). Add bulky items like towels to protect the drum. Repeat if necessary.

Hand wash:

Biothane should be wiped with a damp cloth & soap or scrubbed with a sponge if needed.

Mixed materials:

Hand wash Biothane parts first, then machine wash the rest.

DO NOT:

Exceed 40°C, use bleach, stain removers, steam, or iron. Please don’t wash Taiga gear with anything that has Velcro. It can snag the webbing and leave marks or pulls in the material.

Also, while Biothane is tough, it’s not chew-proof. If your dog likes to test things with their teeth, keep the gear out of reach when not in use.
