For the best fit, measure around your dog’s ribcage (1), about 2 inches behind your dog’s elbow. Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not tight, leaving enough room for 2 to 4 fingers (depending on your dog’s size).
Then, measure the dog’s neck (2), where the top point is at the base of the shoulder blades and the bottom point – at the sternum.
Once you have the measurements, check the size chart on a product's page and choose a size with enough adjustability both ways for the perfect fit.
For puppies and growing dogs: Opt for a size with extra room to accommodate growth.
